Cignal HD Spikers bag second straight PVL win

The Cignal HD Spikers secured their second consecutive win in the Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference by defeating the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles in a four-set match.

Despite a struggle with errors and inconsistency, the HD Spikers managed to regain their composure to win the match with set scores of 25-18, 29-27, 21-25, and 25-22.

Cignal's import, MJ Perez, was instrumental in the victory, scoring 30 points with 26 kills, three aces, and one block, including the crucial hits that sealed the win.

Perez acknowledged the team's fluctuating performance but credited coaching adjustments for their success, emphasizing the need for improved consistency.

Other key contributors for Cignal included Ces Molina with 16 points, and Jacqueline Acuna and Riri Meneses, who each added 11 points.

ZUS Coffee's Japanese import, Asaka Tamaru, put up a strong performance with 23 points, but it wasn't enough to secure a win for her team.
