Lalongisip leads Cignal to victory over ZUS Coffee

Rookie Ishie Lalongisip scored a career-high 20 points, including 18 attacks and two aces, to lead Cignal to a four-set victory over ZUS Coffee (25-18, 25-22, 21-25, 25-11).

She stated her motivation comes from the team's hard work in training and the sacrifices of her teammates, saying, "'Yung motivation ko naman po everyday, iniisip ko lang 'yung ginagawa namin sa training kasi ayaw ko rin sayangin 'yung pagod and sacrifice ng bawat isa, lalo na 'yung mga teammates ko."

Jackie Acuña and Vanie Gandler also contributed significantly with 17 and 14 points, respectively.

Dawn Macandili-Catindig recorded 24 excellent digs, and Judith Abil added 12 excellent digs.

The win improved Cignal's record to 7-3, tying them with Choco Mucho for a top standing.
