Cignal clinches bronze medal in Spikers' Turf after 5-set win

Cignal secured the bronze medal in the Spikers' Turf Invitational Conference by defeating Savouge Aesthetics in a five-set match, marking their first finals miss in seven years.

Wendel Miguel spearheaded Cignal's comeback from a 1-2 set deficit, scoring 20 points, with significant contributions from Vince Maglinao and Steven Rotter, who added 12 points each.

Maglinao's crucial plays in the fifth set, including breaking a tie and scoring the game-winning hit, were pivotal in Cignal's victory.

Coach Dexter Clamor expressed pride in the team's resilience, emphasizing that winning bronze felt special due to the absence of national team players and the team's ability to overcome challenges and finish on the podium.
