Choco Mucho defeats Galeries Tower in PVL On Tour opener

Choco Mucho opened their 2025 PVL On Tour campaign with a four-set victory over Galeries Tower, 25-19, 13-25, 25-22, 25-20.

The Flying Titans played without key players Maddie Madayag, Mars Alba, and Sisi Rondina, who were on national team duty with Alas Pilipinas.

Veterans Isa Molde and Des Cheng stepped up to lead the team, with Molde scoring a match-high 20 points and Cheng contributing 13 points.

Rookies Kylene Villegas and Ayesha Juegos also made significant contributions off the bench, scoring seven points each.

Isa Molde led the offensive charge with 19 attack points and 12 excellent receptions, while Des Cheng added 12 kills and 11 digs.

Head coach Dante Alinsunurin praised Molde and Cheng for their leadership in stabilizing the team.

Deanna Wong also played a significant role, handling the setter's position and delivering 15 excellent sets.

Des Cheng highlighted the team's unity, stating, "We kept hearing we're incomplete. But despite it, we're complete when it comes to faith and trust in each other."
