Choco Mucho escapes Nxled in five sets for fifth straight win

Choco Mucho secured its fifth consecutive victory in the PVL All-Filipino Conference by defeating Nxled in a five-set match, 25-21, 23-25, 21-25, 25-23, 15-10.

This hard-fought victory improved the Flying Titans' record to 7-3 and solidified their hold on third place.

Sisi Rondina led the team with 23 points, including 21 from attacks, alongside 19 excellent digs and 10 excellent receptions.

Isa Molde contributed 12 attack points, while Dindin Santiago-Manabat and Maika Ortiz added nine points each.

Deanna Wong facilitated the offense with 12 excellent sets, and Thang Ponce anchored the defense with 15 excellent digs and 19 excellent receptions.

Royse Tubino urged her teammates to adopt a "never-say-die" attitude when facing a potential upset in the fourth set.

Despite trailing two sets to one and being down in the fourth set, Choco Mucho rallied to win the fourth set and eventually the fifth, continuing their undefeated streak this year.

Coach Dante Alinsunurin acknowledged Nxled's confident performance, stating that they played well and challenged Choco Mucho despite adjustments.
