Centeno reclaims WPA Women's World 10-Ball title after defeating Amit

Chezka Centeno has reclaimed the WPA Women's World 10-Ball Championship title after defeating fellow Filipina Rubilen Amit in an all-Filipina final.

Centeno won the thrilling match with a final score of 4-1, 2-4, 4-2, 3-4, 4-2, securing her second world title after her first in 2023.

This victory marks the Philippines' fourth title in the tournament and the first time the final featured players from the same country.

Amit, who was seeking her third world title, had reached the final undefeated, while Centeno advanced from the losers' bracket.

Centeno, now a multiple-time champion, joins Amit as the only players in history to win the event more than once.

Centeno described the victory as a "triumph of the spirit" and "one of the miracles of my life," attributing it to divine intervention after a period of self-doubt due to previous runner-up finishes.
