Chery Tiggo evens PVL bronze series with Petro Gazz in 5 sets

The Chery Tiggo Crossovers defeated the Petro Gazz Angels in a five-set match to even their best-of-three series at 1-1 in the PVL All-Filipino Conference bronze medal playoff.

Petro Gazz initially led by winning the first two sets, but Chery Tiggo mounted a comeback after strategic lineup changes by coach Kungfu Reyes.

Eya Laure was instrumental in the Crossovers' victory, scoring 26 points, including the crucial kills in the extended fifth set that sealed the win.

Jasmine Nabor also contributed with back-to-back attacks to give Chery Tiggo match point.

Mylene Paat added 15 points, and Shaya Adorador contributed 10 points for the Crossovers.

Chery Tiggo now awaits the result of the Creamline Cool Smashers versus Choco Mucho Flying Titans match, hoping for a Creamline win to force a Game 3 for the bronze medal.
