Chelsea Manalo passes Miss Universe PH crown to Ahtisa Manalo

Reigning Miss Universe Philippines 2024 queen Chelsea Manalo had her farewell walk and passed the crown to her successor, Ahtisa Manalo of Quezon Province, during the coronation night on Friday, May 2.

Wearing a stunning off-shoulder lilac gown, Chelsea graced the stage one last time as the reigning queen at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

Manalo reflected on her one-year reign, describing her journey as 'nothing short of extraordinary' and expressing gratitude to those who contributed to it.

She described her reign as a profound responsibility and a platform for purpose, highlighting that it was more than just a title.

Chelsea emphasized that every experience contributed to her growth as a woman and leader.

She extended encouraging words to her successor, who will represent the Philippines in Miss Universe 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand on November 21.

During her reign, Manalo became the first-ever Miss Universe Asia and received the Best in National Costume Award for her 'Hiraya' national costume at the international competition.
