Chelsea Fernandez is first runner-up in Miss Cosmo 2025, wins People's Choice award

Chelsea Fernandez, the Philippines' representative to Miss Cosmo 2025, was crowned first runner-up in the pageant held in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.

She also secured the Cosmo People's Choice award, receiving over 28.3 million online votes.

During the competition, Fernandez advocated for mangrove protection in the Philippines, aiming to plant 5,000 propagules per hectare.

She impressed in the evening gown portion with a bejeweled gown featuring a sheer cape.

In the question-and-answer segment, Fernandez emphasized empowering women by encouraging them to engage in skill-enriching activities.

Miss USA, Yolina Lindquist, was crowned Miss Cosmo 2025.

Earlier in the competition, Fernandez had won the Eventista's Iconic Swimsuit award and was recognized by Parade of Beauty.
