Chavit Singson denies marites linking him to Jillian Ward

Chavit Singson has denied rumors linking him to a "special relationship" with young actress Jillian Ward, dismissing them as "marites" or gossip.

These speculations gained traction following the circulation of online blind items suggesting a close connection between Singson and Ward.

Singson, 84, shut down the rumors at a forum on Tuesday, stating that many people are linked to him but it is all gossip.

He also addressed rumors of a past relationship with actress Yen Santos, humorously evading a direct question about it.

Singson definitively refuted claims of having a child with Santos, a denial previously made on Santos' YouTube channel where she clarified the child was her youngest brother and Singson was her brother's godfather.

The former governor did admit to actively seeking a romantic partner to care for him.
