CFO encourages students to join US Exchange Visitor Program

The Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) is encouraging Filipino students to join the US government's Exchange Visitor Program (EVP) to gain skills, cultural knowledge, and global exposure.

CFO Secretary Romulo Arugay stated that the EVP helps students immerse themselves in other cultures and gain international experience beneficial for the Philippines.

The CFO recently signed a memorandum of agreement with Far Eastern University (FEU) to formalize their partnership for the EVP.

This collaboration aims to immerse students in the CFO's environment and enhance global competence through cooperation between government, academia, and industry.

The EVP requires participants to undergo a mandatory pre-departure orientation seminar (PDOS) conducted by the CFO to ensure a smoother adjustment.
