Cebu Pacific leases 2 Bulgaria Air A320s for holiday season

Cebu Pacific has signed a damp lease agreement with Bulgaria Air for two Airbus A320 aircraft to supplement its fleet during the peak holiday season from December 2025 to January 2026.

These leased A320s, each with 180 seats, will operate on four domestic routes from Manila to Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, and Cagayan de Oro.

Under the damp lease, Bulgaria Air will provide the aircraft, pilots, and maintenance, while Cebu Pacific will assign its own cabin crew.

This arrangement aims to address the significant surge in passenger demand anticipated during the holiday travel period and scale up Cebu Pacific's capacity.

Cebu Pacific president and chief commercial officer Alexander Lao stated that the airline is continuously exploring ways to expand its fleet and ensure operational efficiency.

This lease follows a similar agreement in 2024, when Cebu Pacific leased jets from Bulgaria Air due to a supply shortage grounding some of its own aircraft.
