Cebu judge killed in motorcycle collision

A municipal trial court judge in Cebu, identified as Carmela Rosario Pasquin, was killed in a two-motorcycle collision in Pinamungajan town on Wednesday morning.

Judge Pasquin was on her way to work as a passenger on a motorcycle when the incident occurred.

The accident happened when another motorcycle carrying three individuals swerved into their lane.

The process server driving the motorcycle with Judge Pasquin and the three people on the other motorcycle were injured and taken to the hospital.

The Supreme Court mourned Judge Pasquin's passing and extended condolences to her family and colleagues.

The SC also expressed hope for the speedy recovery of the injured process server, Eric Lanzarate.
