Cavite now has 6 COVID-19 cases

Cavite Governor Juanito Victor "Jonvic" Remulla Jr. confirmed on Wednesday, March 18, that the province now has six cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

The sixth confirmed case is a 48-year-old man from Tanza municipality who is currently admitted to a health facility in Cavite.

This announcement followed news of another 48-year-old man from Bacoor City being admitted to the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM) in Muntinlupa.

Just the previous day, Remulla had announced two other COVID-19 cases in Imus City and Dasmarinas City.

Governor Remulla is now considering himself a person under monitoring (PUM) after attending a meeting where one participant had a fever, and he has submitted himself for testing.
