Catriona Gray on La Revista Actual cover

Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray was featured on the cover of the Colombian lifestyle magazine, La Revista Actual, for its November and December 2020 issues.

This appearance marked Gray's first magazine cover in Colombia and included a discussion of her visit with Smile Train, with the photoshoot held at the National Museum of the Philippines.

Earlier in November, Gray traveled to Colombia to judge the Miss Universe Colombia 2020 pageant.

During the pageant, the host introduced Gray as an "Australian by birth" who represented the Philippines, and her family name was misspelled as "Garay" on screen.

Gray responded to the introduction by posting an Instagram story emphasizing "Filipina."

She showcased her Filipino pride by wearing ensembles featuring Philippine traditional textiles like yakan and inaul, and designs by Jaggy Glarino and Jearsond Demavivas during her visit.

Gray, born in Australia to a Scottish-Australian father and a Filipino mother, is both an Australian and Filipino citizen.
