Carlos Yulo bags two golds in Paris Olympics

Filipino gymnast Carlos Yulo has won two gold medals at the Paris Olympics, dominating the men's artistic gymnastics floor exercise and vault events.

He expressed disbelief that his Olympic achievements have yet to fully sink in, stating it was his 'ultimate goal'.

Yulo is grateful for the support from various organizations, including the Gymnastics Association of the Philippines, the Philippine Sports Commission, the Philippine Olympic Committee, and the MVP Sports Foundation.

He specifically thanked his Filipino coach Allen Castañeda for guiding him through the training and competitions, acknowledging the adjustments and difficulties they faced.

Yulo confirmed his desire to compete in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, which would be his third Olympic appearance.

He noted that a new code of points will be implemented in gymnastics next year, requiring him to study and adjust his training.
