CarBEV, AngCars launch PH first all-electric ride-hailing fleet

CarBEV and AngCars have partnered to launch the Philippines' first all-electric ride-hailing fleet, marking a significant step towards sustainable transportation in the country.

The collaboration aims to reduce environmental impact and empower drivers by providing accessible electric vehicle (EV) options.

The partnership will officially launch on October 28, 2025, with an initial fleet of 50 Bestune Next Automatic Taxi vehicles.

CarBEV's CEO, Christian Bradley, stated that the company's vision is to make electric mobility accessible, lower costs for operators, improve passenger experience, and support national sustainability goals.

A key component of the initiative is CarBEV's Lease-to-Own program, which allows drivers to acquire new EVs with no down payment and significantly lower monthly costs than gasoline vehicles.

This program includes comprehensive coverage for maintenance, insurance, and roadside assistance, enabling drivers to focus on earning income.

Furthermore, the program ensures drivers receive mandatory government benefits such as SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG contributions, offering them a secure and stable livelihood.
