CALAX full operation eyed by Q3 2025

The Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX) is targeted for full operation by the third quarter of 2025.

MPTC South Management Corp. is targeting to acquire all remaining right-of-way (ROW) needed to finish the entire 44.57-km CALAX by the end of this year.

The ROW for Subsection 1 (Kawit to Open Canal) is now more than 76% complete, and Subsection 2 (Open Canal to Governor's Drive) is at 71%.

Subsection 3, connecting Governor's Drive and Silang (Aguinaldo) interchanges, is practically 100% complete.

The Laguna segment of CALAX is fully operational, and MPTC aims to open the Governor's Drive interchange in General Trias this year.

MPTC has earmarked P11.95 billion for the completion of CALAX and the 7.7-km Manila-Cavite Expressway (Cavitex) C-5 Link by 2025.
