Businesswoman shot dead in front of Maguindanao del Sur gasoline station

A businesswoman, Sharra Jou Ampatuan, was fatally shot by two unidentified assailants on a motorcycle in front of her newly constructed Fahad Gasoline station in Ampatuan, Maguindanao del Sur on Saturday, September 27.

The victim, who belonged to the influential Ampatuan clan, was inspecting her gasoline station when the suspects approached her and fired multiple shots at close range.

She died on the spot from her wounds.

The perpetrators immediately fled the scene on a motorcycle.

Police found the victim in a pool of blood near the gasoline station's main building.

Ampatuan was known for her kindness to local villagers and had no criminal record, according to relatives and local officials.
