BulSU students protest Alyansa candidates' press conference

Students at Bulacan State University (BulSU) protested during a press conference held by candidates from the Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas.

The students, identified with the BulSU Student Government, stated their intention was to voice concerns as they are directly affected by projects endorsed by the BulSU administration and that university spaces should be for students, not politicians.

The Alyansa candidates, including ACT-CIS party-list Rep. Erwin Tulfo, former senators Vicente "Tito" Sotto III and Panfilo Lacson, and Makati Mayor Abby Binay, acknowledged that schools should be shielded from politics.

Senator Panfilo Lacson expressed hope that the students would not blame them, as they were merely invited to the university.

Representative Erwin Tulfo recalled his student days during the protest and agreed that schools should be kept free from politics.
