Bulacan active COVID-19 cases reach 7,501

Active COVID-19 cases in Bulacan have surged to 7,501 as of Wednesday, January 12, with 1,607 new cases recorded.

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the province has reached 98,067, with 90,566 recoveries.

Two new deaths were reported, bringing the total fatalities to 1,491.

Of the active cases, 339 are admitted in hospitals, 81 in Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facilities, and 7,081 are under home isolation.

Several areas including Hagonoy, City of Malolos, Marilao, and the City of San Jose Del Monte have been identified as high epidemic risk areas.

The majority of active cases are mild or moderate (4,352) or asymptomatic (2,872), with 277 severe cases and no recorded critical cases.
