Bubble Gang celebrates 30th anniversary with two-part concert special

Bubble Gang, the longest-running comedy show in the Philippines, is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a two-part concert special titled "BG30: Batang Bubble Ako Concert" airing on GMA this October 19 and 26.

The concert will feature a reunion of original cast members and iconic characters, promising a night of nostalgia and laughter for loyal fans, known as "Batang Bubble."

Highlights include a comedic clash between Michael V.'s Mr. Assimo and Vice Ganda's character, and the return of Ogie Alcasid as Boy Pick-up, along with Sam Pinto as Neneng B and Analyn Barro as Ana B.

Original cast member Diana Zubiri returns as Super B, partnering with EA Guzman's Super Mamshie for a musical performance.

The "Dating Doon" sketch will be revived by its original trio: Brod Pete, Brod Jocel, and Brod Willy.

Current "Bubble Gang" favorites will also have fresh segments, such as a quarrel between Michael V.'s and Chariz Solomon's characters, with Rhian Ramos, and a dramatic encounter involving Betong Sumaya's Antonietta, Ai-Ai delas Alas, and Jillian Ward.

News anchor Emil Sumangil and Paolo Contis will also share the stage as their respective characters, Emil Maangil and Agresibo.
