BTS leader RM delivers keynote at APEC CEO Summit

RM, the leader of K-pop group BTS, became the first K-pop artist to deliver a keynote speech at the APEC CEO Summit held at the Gyeongju Arts Center in North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea.

In his speech, RM discussed K-pop's global growth and how it has transcended borders, highlighting the emotional connection it creates.

He also emphasized the importance of fostering a future creative cultural ecosystem and asked for the cooperation of global leaders.

RM expressed his gratitude for his BTS bandmates, producer "Hitman" Bang, and the group's fanbase, ARMY, crediting their support for opening new paths.

He noted that ARMY's passion allowed his voice to be heard at various historic events, including the APEC Summit.

APEC had described RM as a creative powerhouse and avid art enthusiast, renowned for his philosophical approach to music and ability to push creative boundaries.
