BSP, DOLE ink data sharing deal for better employment policy

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) have entered into a data sharing agreement to improve policy-making related to employment.

This memorandum of understanding (MOU) will enable the BSP to utilize DOLE's data to monitor labor market conditions more effectively.

The collaboration aims to strengthen employment policies and enhance labor market strategies.

Both institutions have pledged to ensure the privacy and security of the shared data.

BSP Governor Eli Remolona Jr. stated that the MOU will allow for faster and smarter responses through secure and timely data sharing.

DOLE Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma expressed optimism that the partnership will lead to progress that benefits jobseekers and improves the quality of employment in the Philippines.
