BPI, Robinsons Retail partner for fee-free ATM withdrawals at 300 stores

Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) and Robinsons Retail Holdings Inc. (RRHI) have partnered to offer fee-free ATM withdrawals at approximately 300 RRHI food category stores nationwide.

BPI customers can withdraw cash without their ATM cards by generating a barcode through the BPI mobile app, which can then be presented at participating RRHI stores such as Robinsons Easymart, Robinsons Supermarket, and The Marketplace.

This new service allows for cash withdrawals ranging from a minimum of P100 to a maximum of P10,000 per transaction, with a limit of five transactions per day.

BPI President and CEO Jose Teodoro "TG" Limcaoco emphasized the convenience of this service for financial inclusion, allowing withdrawals while grocery or department store shopping.

Additionally, the barcode can be shared with family or friends for cash withdrawals, and BPI plans to introduce cash deposit services in the future.

Tin Tueres, Managing Director of Robinsons Supermarket Corporation, highlighted the speed, security, and convenience of the withdrawal process.
