Boys' Night Out abruptly ends 19-year radio run

The radio program "Boys' Night Out" abruptly ceased airing on Magic 89.9 on Tuesday, September 30, ending its 19-year run.

Hosts DJ Slick Rick, DJ Tony Toni, Tin Gamboa, Sam YG, and Gino Quillamor released a statement thanking listeners for their support.

The hosts expressed that new management did not allow them a final show to say goodbye.

In their statement, the DJs alluded to issues with "toxic superiors" and "power-tripping" within their workplace.

Tin Gamboa further explained in a Threads post that her remarks regarding a conversation with program director Sarge Capulso led to the program's preventive suspension.

Despite the abrupt ending, the hosts believe the spirit of the show will continue through their listeners and hinted at future endeavors.
