Boracay, Palawan, and Siargao rank in top Asian islands for 2025

Boracay, Palawan, and Siargao, three Philippine islands, have been recognized in Condé Nast Traveler's 2025 Readers' Choice Awards for being among the top islands in Asia.

Boracay ranked fourth with 90.54 points, Palawan landed fifth with 90.23 points, and Siargao took the seventh spot with 85.49 points.

Over 700,000 travelers globally cast their votes in the annual survey conducted by the US-based luxury and lifestyle travel magazine.

Tourism Secretary Ma. Esperanza Christina G. Frasco stated that this recognition is a testament to the beauty and stewardship of the island communities.

She also added that the recognition reaffirms the department's commitment to preserving natural wonders, advancing sustainable tourism, and ensuring prosperity reaches every Filipino.

In 2024, Boracay ranked third, Palawan sixth, and Siargao tenth in the same awards category.
