President-elect Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. has appointed former Davao del Norte congressman Anton Lagdameo Jr. as his Special Assistant to the President (SAP).

Before his political career, he worked as a credit analyst for two banks in New York.
The SAP post, previously held by Senator Bong Go, acts as an aide to the president and supervises the Presidential Management Staff.
