Lagdameo holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Master's degree in Business Economics from the University of Asia and the Pacific.

Before his political career, he worked as a credit analyst for two banks in New York.

The SAP post, previously held by Senator Bong Go, acts as an aide to the president and supervises the Presidential Management Staff.
