Bong Revilla denies involvement in ghost projects, to submit counter-affidavit

Former Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. denied his alleged involvement in "ghost" flood control projects in Bulacan, stating his name is being used as an "easy target" to distort the truth.

Revilla and resigned Ako Bicol Party-list Rep. Zaldy Co were identified as additional respondents in cases filed before the Department of Justice (DOJ) concerning irregular flood control projects in Bulacan.

The DOJ spokesperson Atty. Polo Martinez confirmed that Revilla and Co were admitted as respondents in cases involving SYMS Construction and Trading.

Bernardo had accused Revilla of receiving commissions for flood control projects, a claim the former senator has denied.

Revilla asserted that the accusations against him are not only lies but also lack credibility, and he is prepared to face the charges with courage and determination.

The former senator stated that he will submit his counter-affidavit within a few days.
