Bong Quinto named PBA Press Corps Player of the Week

Bong Quinto has been named the first PBA Press Corps-Pilipinas Live Player of the Week for the season-ending conference, leading the Meralco Bolts to two dominant wins.

Quinto averaged 13.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.0 assists during the games played from April 4 to 6.

He played a crucial role in Meralco's comeback victory against Converge, where his three-pointer set up the game-winning sequence.

Quinto also had a strong performance in Meralco's record-breaking 118-80 win against Terrafirma, contributing early with a four-point play and a triple.

The six-year veteran is actively working on improving his outside shooting, an area he is expanding beyond his known strengths of driving and post-scoring.

Beyond his offensive contributions, Quinto also excels on the defensive end and in playmaking.
