Bong Quinto leads Meralco past Terrafirma despite slip

Bong Quinto overcame an injury scare to his left leg after slipping on a wet floor and led Meralco to a 107-91 victory over Terrafirma in the PBA Governors' Cup.

Quinto scored 11 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter, including three consecutive triples that helped secure the win during a 13-2 Meralco breakaway.

Import Allen Durham contributed 23 points and 12 rebounds, while Chris Banchero added 17 points for the Bolts.

Meralco played without Chris Newsome (ankle), Aaron Black (knee), and Raymond Almazan (back).

The Bolts improved to a 2-1 record in Group A, sharing the lead with TNT and Converge, while Terrafirma remains winless at 0-3.
