Bong Go wants bigger info campaign for COVID-19 vaccine confidence

Senator Christopher "Bong" Go urged the national government to launch a more massive information campaign to educate the public on the COVID-19 vaccine roadmap and boost confidence.

The roadmap details the process for vaccine acquisition, delivery, and organizational structure to ensure cost-effective, safe, and efficient distribution to all Filipinos.

Go stressed that public apprehension, reflected in a Pulse Asia survey showing only 32% willingness to be inoculated, necessitates better awareness-building initiatives.

He highlighted the importance of explaining the vaccine roadmap to allay fears and uncertainties, as well as to combat fake news and misinformation.

Go also pointed out the need to explain other logistical aspects such as storage, transportation, and delivery of the vaccines.

He assured the public that he would work with the executive branch to ensure the systematic facilitation of the vaccine plan and prioritization of vulnerable sectors.
