BoC collects record P934.4 billion revenue in 2025

The Bureau of Customs (BoC) collected P934.4 billion in revenue for 2025, falling short of its P958.714 billion target by P24.314 billion.

This collection surpassed the previous year's collection by 1.9% or P17.726 billion, marking a record high.

The bureau attributed its performance to increased efficiency, strengthened compliance measures, and the expanded use of digital systems, despite challenges like lower import volumes and the suspension of rice importation.

In 2025, the BoC conducted 1,024 enforcement operations, resulting in the seizure of smuggled and prohibited goods valued at approximately P61.707 billion.

BoC Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno highlighted the agency's transformation and commitment to integrity, service, and trust, vowing to make the Bureau faster, more transparent, and reliable in 2026.
