Blu Boys Japan training for SEA Games gold medal defense

The Philippine men's softball team, known as the Blu Boys, will undergo a two-week training camp in Ishikawa, Japan to prepare for the upcoming Southeast Asian Games.

This training aims to help the Blu Boys reclaim the SEA Games gold medal they lost six years ago.

During their stay in Japan, the team is scheduled to play exhibition games against teams from Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore, the very team that took the gold from the Philippines previously.

Jean Henri Lhuillier, chief of the Amateur Softball Association of the Philippines, highlighted the importance of this camp for enhancing the team's skills and strategies against strong international competition.

The Blu Girls team is also actively preparing to defend their championship title in the same event.

The training camp is considered a crucial part of the Blu Boys' preparation for the SEA Games in Thailand, scheduled from December 9 to 20.
