Bloomberry awards 20 nursing scholars, 69 from other courses

Bloomberry Cultural Foundation, Inc. (BCFI) celebrated a significant achievement as 20 scholars graduated from its Medical Scholarship Program this year, marking a milestone for the initiative.

Of the 20 nursing graduates, 11 received Latin honors, and eight were recognized with special awards for their academic and extracurricular accomplishments.

Graduates with Cum Laude honors were from West Visayas State University and Batangas State University, with one scholar from Batangas State University earning Magna Cum Laude.

BCFI, in partnership with Pilipinas Shell Foundation, Inc., is providing board review examination grants to these nursing graduates.

Beyond nursing, 44 residents from Barangay Tambo in Parañaque and 25 from Barangay Bagong Pag-Asa in Quezon City completed a BCFI-sponsored caregiving course and passed TESDA accreditation.

The Medical Scholarship Program, established to combat the shortage of healthcare professionals in the Philippines, intends to produce 763 graduates within five years.

BCFI collaborates with 13 universities across the nation to implement its scholarship program.
