Blackwater import wants to be naturalized for Gilas Pilipinas

Blackwater import George King has expressed his desire to be naturalized and play for the Gilas Pilipinas national basketball team.

King stated he would love to wear the national team jersey and play alongside current Gilas players.

He mentioned his familiarity with Filipino-American player Jordan Clarkson, who previously played for Gilas and spoke highly of the Philippines.

King views playing for the national team as an opportunity of a lifetime, especially in a country he enjoys.

Despite Blackwater not advancing, King made a strong impression with his individual performance, scoring 64 points in a recent game.
