Two of the confirmed patients, aged 50 and 53, are males and are currently admitted at the Bicol Regional and Training Hospital.

The third patient, a 48-year-old female, is admitted at the Bicol Medical Center.

DOH CHD-Bicol Regional Director Ernie Vera assured the public that hospitals involved have protective measures in place for both patients and healthcare workers.

Contact tracing efforts are underway, with the DOH CHD-Bicol coordinating with hospitals and local government units.

As of Friday, the Philippines has a total of 803 confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 54 deaths and 31 recoveries.
