Bicol police seize over P6M in illegal drugs in April operations

Police in the Bicol region seized over P6 million worth of illegal drugs during anti-drug operations conducted throughout April.

During these operations, a total of 122 individuals were arrested for drug-related offenses.

These arrests comprised 15 high-value targets and 107 street-level targets.

The majority of arrests, 89 suspects, were made through buy-bust operations.

Additional arrests were made through warrants, with 13 individuals apprehended for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, nine through search warrants, and six through other police operations.

Bicol police chief Brigadier General Andre Perez Dizon urged the community to continue supporting their efforts to create a drug-free environment.
