Bianca Pagdanganan tied for 9th after opening round at Kroger Queen City Championship

Filipina golfer Bianca Pagdanganan is competing in the Kroger Queen City Championship in Ohio.

After an opening round of 5-under 67, she was tied for ninth place, four shots behind the leader.

Pagdanganan's first round was marked by hitting 17 of 18 greens in regulation and a driving average of 266 yards.

In the second round, she carded a two-under 70, securing her place for the weekend but dropping to a share of 19th.

Despite early stumbles in the second round, she birdied two of her last four holes to finish strong.

Her average driving distance increased significantly to 307 yards in the second round, though she hit fewer greens.

Pagdanganan aims to carry the momentum from her late surge into the next round.
