BI arrests 2 South Korean fugitives in Luzon

The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has successfully apprehended two South Korean fugitives in separate operations in Luzon.

The first fugitive, 42-year-old Choi Jonguk, was arrested in Parañaque for allegedly operating an illegal online gambling website catering to Korean customers.

Choi has been on the BI's wanted list since 2019 for violating South Korea's national sports promotion act.

The second individual arrested is 37-year-old Seo Jungchul, who was apprehended in Angeles City, Pampanga.

Seo is wanted in South Korea for alleged involvement in the illegal drug trade and has an Interpol red notice against him.
