Napolcom exec joins Dizon at DPWH
Atty. Ricardo P. Bernabe III is leaving his post as Commissioner at the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) to join the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) under Secretary Vince Dizon.
Bernabe was appointed as NAPOLCOM Commissioner on March 8, 2022, and later served as Vice Chairperson and Executive Officer (VCEO) from November 4, 2024, to April 15, 2025.
Before his role at NAPOLCOM, Bernabe was an Undersecretary for Strategic Action and Response (STAR) at the Office of the Executive Secretary, overseeing the Presidential Complaint Center and the 8888 Citizens' Complaint Center.
He also contributed to promoting professionalism in the bureaucracy as an ex-officio Board Member of the Career Executive Service Board (CESB).
Bernabe's prior experience includes serving as Associate General Counsel at San Miguel Corporation before his entry into government service in 2016.
