Bataan Covid-19 cases reach 300

The total number of confirmed coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases in Bataan has reached 300 after four new patients were added on Friday, July 24, 2020.

These new cases include a 31-year-old female from Balanga City, a 36-year-old female from Bagac, a 30-year-old male from Samal, and a 24-year-old male from Orion.

The Provincial Health Office reported that active Covid-19 cases rose to 68, with 221 recoveries and 11 deaths.

Of the 7,034 individuals tested, 300 were positive, 6,510 were negative, and 224 are awaiting results.

Governor Albert Garcia urged residents to strictly observe health protocols to prevent further spread of the disease.
