Baron Geisler's Netflix film 'The Delivery Rider' a love letter to his autistic daughter

Baron Geisler describes his upcoming Netflix film "The Delivery Rider" as a personal "love letter" to his daughter, Talitha, who is on the autism spectrum.

The film, also starring Jake Cuenca and child actor Euwenn Mikaell, is set to premiere on Netflix on October 23.

Geisler highlighted the deeply personal nature of the film, noting a shared connection among the cast and crew as director Lester Pimentel Ong also has a son on the spectrum, as does Geisler's daughter and Mikaell's sister.

He emphasized that the film was made with respect and care, aiming to avoid caricatures or stereotypes of individuals on the spectrum.

In the movie, Geisler portrays Santo, a delivery rider with functional autism, who, along with his son (played by Mikaell), becomes entangled in a dangerous situation after witnessing a crime and must evade a gang led by Cuenca's character.

Geisler shared the trailer, dedicating the film to "AUsome" parents raising children on the spectrum and to hardworking delivery riders.
