Baron Geisler, Jake Cuenca star in Netflix film 'The Delivery Rider'

Baron Geisler and Jake Cuenca will star in the upcoming Netflix film "The Delivery Rider," directed by Lester Ong and scheduled for release on October 23 across Southeast Asia.

The film tells the story of a highly functional person on the autism spectrum who becomes entangled in a situation beyond his control, blending action and heartfelt drama.

Director Ong stated that the film is a tribute to delivery riders, describing them as "our everyday heroes" and highlighting their hard work and sacrifices.

The movie also aims to shed light on the opportunities delivery services provide for those facing socioeconomic challenges and limited educational prospects, especially during the pandemic.

Geisler mentioned his portrayal was inspired by his daughter, who is on the autism spectrum, and he worked closely with Ong through workshops to develop his character.
