Baron Geisler arrested for public disturbance

Actor Baron Geisler was arrested on February 22 in Mandaue City, Cebu, for allegedly causing a public disturbance due to drunkenness.

His brothers-in-law reportedly tipped off the police after Geisler began throwing objects at their residence.

Police confirmed the arrest, stating that no one was injured during the incident.

Geisler was released hours later after settling a P500 penalty for violating Mandaue City Ordinance 11-2008-434 concerning severe intoxication.

The actor has since released a statement on social media addressing "a lot of misinformation" and criticizing "irresponsible journalism" for blowing events out of proportion.

Speaking at the story conference for his upcoming film "Tag-Ulan," Geisler asserted that his family is affected and he will seek justice, as the truth will come out soon.
