Barangay Ginebra dedicated their 81-73 win against Rain or Shine in the Philippine Cup quarterfinals to victims of Typhoon Ulysses.

Head coach Tim Cone expressed solidarity with fans affected by the typhoon, noting that even their own houses experienced flooding.

The team is planning to set up its own donation drive, separate from the assistance to be provided by their mother organization, San Miguel Corporation.

Cone urged his players and staff to contribute to the drive, emphasizing the need for individual and team efforts.

Japeth Aguilar dedicated his stellar performance, a double-double of 23 points and 11 rebounds, to those affected by the typhoon and the ongoing pandemic.
