Baliwag mayor, 2 women recover from COVID-19

Baliwag Mayor Ferdie Estrella and two women from San Jose del Monte City and the municipality of Bulakan have recovered from COVID-19.

Estrella, identified as Patient 152, tested positive on March 16 and recovered on March 29.

The 58-year-old woman from San Jose del Monte City, Patient 21, recovered on April 6 after testing positive on March 9.

Patient 413, a 31-year-old female resident of Bulakan, recovered six days after being confirmed positive on March 22.

Estrella was discharged from St. Luke's Medical Center BGC, the woman from San Jose del Monte City from Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital, and the Bulakan resident from Makati Medical Center.

Mayor Estrella shared his experience on Facebook, expressing gratitude to front-liners and those who prayed for him.

According to Dr. Jocelyn Gomez, PHO-PH head, 15 other patients have shown clinical improvement and are awaiting negative test results.

As of Saturday afternoon, Bulacan has 60 confirmed COVID-19 cases, 14 deaths, and 596 active patients under investigation.
