Baguio reopens to fully vaxxed tourists starting Oct 25

Baguio City has reopened its tourism industry starting October 25, 2021, allowing entry only to fully vaccinated adult tourists and minors who will undergo testing.

Visitors must register online through visita.baguio.gov.ph for approval.

Minors aged 12 to 17, regardless of vaccination status, must present negative antigen or RT-PCR test results within 72 hours prior to arrival or during health screening.

Minors 11 years old and below will be tested at the discretion of their accompanying parents or guardians.

Entry is limited to residents from areas under Alert Level 3 or lower, excluding those from ECQ, MECQ, Alert Levels 4, and 5 areas.

Mayor Benjamin Magalong expressed hope that the reopening will stimulate economic activity, which had significantly declined due to restrictions.

The city government will continue to enforce minimum public health standards, including mandatory face masks and shields, social distancing, and handwashing.
