He experienced symptoms such as fever, leg pain, and cough starting July 6, was admitted to a hospital on July 14 due to breathing difficulties, and passed away on July 15, the same day his swab test was taken.

His positive test result was released two days later, leading health authorities to isolate his close contacts and seal off 11 houses in his residential area.

The previous deaths in Bacolod City were recorded in March, April, and May.
