Ayala Land launches P15-B sustainability-linked bond offer

Ayala Land Inc. (ALI) has launched a P15-billion sustainability-linked bond offer, part of its P50-billion shelf registration.

The offer, approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), includes a base amount of P10 billion with an option to increase by P5 billion due to high demand.

It features Series C bonds due 2030 at 6.0671% and Series D bonds due 2035 at 6.3192%.

The net proceeds are intended to finance capital expenditure requirements and debt refinancing.

The offer period began on Oct. 9 and will end on Oct. 15, with listing scheduled for Oct. 23.

This issuance comes as the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) has cut rates for the fourth time this year, making fixed-income securities more attractive.
